DCP Description

Randomly found this article today and thought it was a great description/overview of the whole program. I've had a lot of people ask me exactly what it is, or why I was doing it, and this article answers both of these questions. To an outsider looking in, it's working a full time job for 5 months at minimum wage (or, at least, pretty dang close). To someone who loves Disney and is ready for an adventure, it's spending a whole semester working at your favorite place on earth...and getting paid to do so! It is also a great way to meet people from across the globe, try new things, and add a valuable job experience to your resume. Enough of my babbling though--here's a link to the article:

DCP Bucket List

So, I may or may not have stolen this idea from everyone else...but oh well, it's still got my own personal flair to it!

DCP Bucket List:

-Go to all of the Disney parks in one day
-Purchase/consume a dole whip
-Travel through Disney "underground" (SO exciting!!!)
-Get a Universal season pass (I'm going on as many roller coasters as possible!)
-Go to the beach

-Buy/finish the Kitchen Sink with my roomies
-Ride every Disney attraction (that I'm not too tall for at least, haha)
-Ride Space Mountain with the lights on
-Eat a Mickey Mouse ice cream bar

-Go to the park from opening til close
-Play grocery bingo
-Get a Disney birthday pin (May 2nd!!)
-Get a picture with every Disney princess!
-Eat at Be Our Guest

-Fill an autograph book from start to finish
-Meet someone famous (I've heard that it's quite possible...heck yes!)

-Eat at Gaston's Tavern



Well, this is all I have so far, but I'm sure that I am missing some very obvious/important ones. Please feel free to enlighten me of your personal "must-do"s :)

ACCEPTANCE

Hello, my name is Hannah and I am addicted to any and EVERY thing Disney. 

Now that we have that established, I am happy to inform everyone that I have been accepted for the spring 2014 Disney College Program! I am SO excited I can hardly stand it! My official move in date is January 8th and I will be there til May 30th...five months of pure Disney bliss!!! 

Now the only problem is waiting! How the heck am I supposed to bear through the rest of this school semester when I have Disney waiting on me?! It will definitely be a challenge--a challenge I have no desire to face! Oh well, only 46 more days until the semester is finished...wish me luck ;)
